1360 & 1370 Baldur Park Rd <br />MCWD Permitting Requirements <br /> <br />MCWD Rules Triggered: <br />Erosion Control, Floodplain Alteration, Wetland Protection <br />Erosion Control Requirements: <br /> Confirm total square feet of disturbance & total cubic yards of excavation/fill/stockpiling <br /> Erosion Control Best Management Practices (BMPS) such as silt fence or bio logs installed <br />around areas downgradient to work area. <br /> Rock construction entrance installed <br />Floodplain Alteration Requirements: <br /> Provide total cubic yards of floodplain fill and cut, mitigation for fill should at the very least be at <br />a 1:1 ratio. Mitigation calculations need to be signed off on by a professional engineer. <br /> Modeling/calculations to show that floodplain work will not result in impact to neighboring <br />properties at 1340 & 1376 Baldur Park Rd. <br /> Zoomed in map of the section north of the proposed road to determine extent of work in <br />relation to floodplain given close proximity to floodplain. <br />Wetland Protection Requirements: <br /> Establishment of 25’ wide wetland buffer required for construction of new single family homes. <br /> Wetland buffer signs to be installed at each property line the buffer extends into and as needed <br />to denote the contour of the buffer, with a maximum spacing of no more than 100’ between <br />signs. <br /> If needed, buffer averaging may be done, maximum reduction width being 50% of the buffer <br />width (12.5’) and maximum buffer increase width being 200% of the buffer (50’). Areas of <br />reduction or increase should be called out on plan and adjusted widths labeled. Should also <br />include calculation on site plan to show no loss in total buffer area. <br /> Confirmation on existing vegetation, proposed vegetation list for buffer. <br />Administrative items: <br /> Maintenance Declaration for buffer to be recorded with Hennepin County, MCWD would <br />require a copy of recorded document. <br /> 14 Day Public Notice due to floodplain and wetland protection being triggered by project, <br />notification sent out to all residents within 600’ of project site.
