. . .` i .. •
=P TESTtNG, INC. Steven B. Schirmem — MPCA Cert. No. 627
951 Katydid Lane NE • St. Michael, MN 55376 * (612) 497-35M
October 11, 1993
Taylor Residence
Bruce Schmidt & Associates
550 East Long Lake Rd.
Orono, Henn. Co., MN
This letter is in reguard with the Revised Design for the proposed
On -Site Sewage Treament System for this property.
The proposed sites were compacted from equipment travel. The
average percolation rates from the tests completed June 28, 1993
was 10.6 min/inch. The tests completed September 25 & 30 range
from 7 to 480.0 min/inch. The proposed treatment area is compacted
approx. 101 & the future expansion area is compacted approx. 401.
when installing the primary site, the compacted area must be
turned over 180 deep (only compacted area). The holes from tree
removal must be filled with a loam soil, not sand. The future
expansion area (3 seperate rock beds 27.3' each) must be turned
over at the same time as the installation of the primary site.
Recommend to use a chisel plow 180 deep.
These sites no longer meet State & l ^al Code due to the
compacted soils. This Design must reviewed & approved
by the City Official.
Note : Septic effluent will to be delivered by a timer, 300ga: /day
per mound. Pumping chamber will also need a alternating relay
alternating each mound.
even B'Achi; e
U
SBS/ds
