SUBDIVISION 9 (F) <br /> FILE NO. 02-2777 <br /> WHEREAS, Thomas Meehan and Aija Meehan, husband and wife, <br /> . (hereinafte'r "the applicants") are the owners of the property located at 2825 Little Orchard <br /> Way within the City of Orono (hereinafter "the City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 6, Block 1, Little Orchard, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the . <br /> property"); and � <br /> WHEREAS,the applicants have made application to the City of Orono to permit a <br /> "Plumbing in Accessory Structure - Conditional Use Permit"to allow a toilet and two sinks to be <br /> . installed into an accessory structure. � <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Coinmission held a public hearing on May 20,2002,at which time all persons desiring to be heard <br /> concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council �of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS . <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File#02-2777. � <br /> 2. This property is located in the LR-lA Zoning District where 2 acre is the minimum <br /> required lot area. The property consists of approximately 135,978 s.f.or 3.122 acres. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on May 20, 2002 and <br /> recommended approval by a vote of 7 to 0 of a conditional use permit for plumbing <br /> in an accessory structure to allow for a toilet and two sinks based on the following <br /> findings: <br /> � <br /> • Page 1 of 4 <br />
