Mr. Malkerson informed Mr. Lorge <br />that if he wishes to make a new application for a <br />variance or for anything else, to submit these <br />plans to show a new location of the house, go <br />through a public hearing before the Planning <br />Commission and the City Council, then he has every <br />right to do so, but this is not what Mr. Lorge <br />wishes to de at this point. <br />An executive session was called at 9:53 P.M. <br />After discussion, <br />Mayor Van Nest moved, Butler seconded, t;, <br />authorize the City Planner to draft a letter to Mr. <br />Richard Lorge, 2697 Casco Point Road, informing <br />him that the City of Orono is willing to have a new <br />proposal brought before them that satisfies the <br />zoning code, since this is a substandard lot and <br />not in single separate ownership. Motion, Ayes <br />(5) - Nays (0). <br />The executive session ended at approximately <br />10:53 P.M. <br />Mr. Gary Peterson was present to discuss his PRD <br />subdivision proposal for 1340 Baldur ?ark Road. <br />Mr. Peterson placed on the Council table a model of <br />the layout for his development. City Attorney <br />Malkerson informed the City COJnciI and Mr. <br />Peterson chat anything presented at Council <br />meetings is the property of the City, and, <br />therefore, the model of the development must be <br />dated. initialed, and left with the City. <br />The City Council discussed the PRD vs, a standard <br />subdivision that had a density of only three units <br />on the property. The City Council felt that the <br />density of the PRD was too great for the area. <br />Nurr moved. Adams seconded. to table the rnQuest <br />of Tonka Lake Properties for a PRD Subdivision for <br />1340 Hall-jr Park Road. to allow time for Mr <br />Peterson to reconsider hi, present proposal <br />Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />
