0 <br />Zm <br />Section 0101 SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br />1. The Contractor shall immediately repair or replace at his own expense <br />any defective workmanship or material of which he is notified during <br />-- the construction period, or within one year after the date of final <br />acceptance of the work, regardless of the approval and acceptance of <br />the work. <br />2. City street used for access to the construction site shall be kept <br />free of dirt and other debris resulting from said construction. <br />Adequate dust control shall also be maintained. <br />3. The Contractor shall submit a list of materials and respective <br />supplies and all tests of materials to the City Engineer. The City <br />:hall be supplied with a list of all sub -contractors. <br />4. Compaction and material tests shall be paid fir by the Owner. However, <br />if any tests should fail to meet specifications, the Contractor will be <br />required to reimburse the Owner for costs of all subsequent re -testing <br />necessary to insure compliance with the specifications. <br />5. The bid price for all items shall include complete construction in <br />place. Nc additional compensation shall be made for adjusting man- <br />holes, etc., to final finished grade. <br />6. Dewatering trenches will be considered incidental to the price per <br />lineal foot of pipe installed with no extra compensation received. <br />7. Any damage to the existing road during construction will be repaired <br />at the Contractor's expense. <br />:w <br />8. Unsuitable foundation material shall be replaced with porous back*ill <br />material (crushed rock) conforming to WO 3137 CA-1, minimum size <br />• <br />3/4". Payment will be on the ton basis. The contractor will not be <br />paid for binder stone where it is used only to facilitate dewatering <br />of the trenches. <br />�. Should the contractor fail to complete the work on or before <br />, the Owner will be entitled to damages amounting <br />s <br />to one hundred dollars ($100.00) per calendar day.
