`- � .I i <br />CI'rY OF ORONO is <br />11WI <br />PRESENTER <br />Peter Jarvis, Bob Kost, BRW, Inc. <br />Request for Rezoning from RR-1B to R-1A, Preliminary Plat <br />Approval of a Subdivision Consisting of 25 Single Family Lots <br />and Related Outlots, and Approval of a Conditional Use Permit <br />for a PRD, for the 32.6 acre Rebers Property, Located in the <br />Northwest Quadrant of T.H. 12 and Brown Road. <br />BACKGRO <br />This request for rezoning has been the subject of considerable <br />review and discussion over the course of this late summer and <br />early fall. Although the basic concept for the use of this <br />pruperty remains the same, some design modifications have <br />occurred through the review process. <br />All of the basic planning issues surrounding this application <br />were reviewed in the planning report that was prepared for the <br />Planning Commission's September 19 meeting. That report has <br />been attached for your reference. <br />This report focuses on the design modifications that have been <br />made by the applicants in response to concerns and directives <br />expressed by the Planning Commission. These modifications <br />relate primarily to the location of the access point on Brown <br />Road and the design of the internal street system. We have <br />also been asked to respond to some concerns contained in a <br />letter that has been circulated by former City Councilmember, <br />Tim Adams. <br />5U?9lARY OF DESIGN MODIFICATIONS <br />1. Access Onto Brown Road <br />The access point on Brown Road has been moved many times during <br />the planning process.
