111988.4 i <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br />dlllz:� <br />FROM: Mark Bernhardson, City Administrato <br />DATE: November 13, 1988 •I <br />SUBJECT: County Road 51 <br />ISSUE - Updating Council regarding information on County Road 51. <br />INTRODUCTION - Presently the staff has been in contact with the <br />Hennepin County Department of Transportation but has not met to <br />review the alternatives that they consider acceptable on that <br />road. Once this has been determined staff will make a <br />recommendation as to when this should be placed on the agenda and <br />the affected property owners notified. At the present time it is <br />not anticipated that this will be able to be considered for an <br />initial review by the Council at its Decembar 12. 1988 meeting <br />and then discuss with the neighborhood at the Council meeting in <br />January 1989. <br />ALTERNATIVES - <br />1. Accept the information. <br />2. Direct staff to bring back an initial package to the December <br />12, 1988 meeting for review before presentation to the neighbors. <br />3. Direct staff to notify neighbors fog- consideration either <br />January 9th or January 23rd meeting as deemed appropriate. <br />4. Table until the next meeting for further discussion. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that the Council accept the <br />information from staff and direct staff that if the County's <br />package is prepared that it be presented to Council initially at <br />yhe December 12th meeting for eventual presentation and <br />g1scu331on with the neighborhood during a January 1989 Council <br />c�eeting. <br />PROPUSED MOTIJN - Moved by , seconded by that the Zouncil <br />accept the information reg—arding County Road 51 and table <br />discu-,sijn until December 12, 1983.
