Request for Council policy direction in each of the ereas <br />identified. <br />INTRODUCTION - The Council considered this matter at its October <br />10, 1968 Council meeting ann based on the excellent :b:zU331on by <br />Council, staff has identified issues and alternatives for the <br />Council to consider regarding the amendment. <br />Based on direction this evening the -staff will then be able to <br />revise the amendment to take Council policy direction into <br />account. <br />It should be noted that the Planning Commission had considered <br />the amendment at their August 17, 1988 meeting and that the vote <br />for approval was 5 to 0. <br />At the request of Councilmember Goetten who had discussed the <br />issue of PUD's with former Councilmember Norm Paurus, Council <br />actions in the late 7013 related to Planned Unit Developments <br />(19"5-31) were researched. The research indicated passage of the <br />M-6 Multiple Family Planned DPvelopemnt District in 6/14/76. 1n <br />
