� <br /> � °� <br /> o �: � _ <br /> • - � CITY of ORONO <br /> � , � <br /> , � <br /> ��L �G~' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> `�kESKO4 No. 4 J � 9 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> HOPE CHEST FOR BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION <br /> FOR A ONE DAY MINNESOTA LAWFUL GAMBLING EXEMPT PERMIT <br /> < <br /> WIiEREAS,the Hope Chest for Breast Cancer Foundation has applied to the State of <br /> Minnesota Gambling Control Board for a Minnesota Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit to conduct <br /> lawful gambling activities; and � <br /> WHEREAS,the Hope Chest for Breast Cancer Foundation proposes to conduct a one <br /> day gambling activity(raffle) as part of the Women of Hope Brunch to be held at 3850 Shoreline <br /> Drive on June 7, 2003; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hope Chest for Breast Cancer Foundation is required to obtain <br /> approval of the gambling activity from the city in which the activity will occur. <br /> • <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,the Orono City Council does hereby <br /> approve the application for a Minnesota Lawful Gambling Exempt Pernut for the Hope Chest for <br /> Breast Cancer Foundation to conduct a one day gambling activity(raffle)at 3850 Shoreline Drive on <br /> June 7, 2003. <br /> Adopted at a regular meeting of the Orono City Council this 27th day of May,2003. <br /> � <br /> .
