A.. <br />11217 Calvary <br />North Hollywood, Ca. 91606 <br />This office is the City attorney for the City of Orono. <br />Perhaps our records are not correct, however, the City records <br />indicate that your residence or building at <br />has not yet been connected to the available municipal sewer <br />system. This letter is to inform you that if you are in fact <br />not now hooked up to City Sewer, you are in violation of the <br />Orono Municipal Code, Chapter 25, Section 25.160 which requires <br />the owners of all houses, buildings, or improved properties <br />where public sewer was available as of July 1, 1968, to connect <br />to said public sewer not later than December 31, 1969, and the <br />owners of all houses, buildings or improved properties where <br />public sewer became available after July 1, 1968 to connect to <br />said public sewer within sixteen (16) months after the sewer was <br />made available. Orono Ordinance No. 210, Chapter 22.20, Sub. 2.1 <br />reiterates this 16-month connecti.on period requirement. Minnesota <br />Health Department re(julations MHD 120te) and 122(g) require the <br />connection 4-o and use of public sewer facilities where t}ley are <br />available. <br />This letter is final notic, that the residence or <br />building indicated above gust be hooked to the municipal sewer <br />no later than Tugust 1, 1979. Continued violation after t}Idt <br />date will resu't in a tag being issued to you. Such a violation <br />constitutes a misdemeanor. A misdemeanor may be punishable by <br />a fine of not more than $500.00 or other penalties pursuant to <br />the provisions of the statutes of the Stag of Minnesota. Each <br />day of violation or non-compliance -hall co.tstitute a separate <br />offense. <br />
