DNR Shoreland Regulations3 Summary <br />While the City's LMCD representative, JoEllen Hurr, is on <br />vacation, Gene Strommen the new LMCD Exceutive Director will be <br />present to be introduced to the Councilmembers together with <br />addressing the status of the following: <br />- Eurasian Water Milfoil <br />- Water Conservation <br />- LMCD Comprehensive Plan progress <br />- DNR Shoreland Regulations <br />The staff has reviewed the proposed revision to DNR shoreland <br />regluations and feels that Orono should not have signifi:ant <br />problem complying or exceeding those standards. Mr. Strommen has <br />tak?n considerable time in reviewing and summarizing the <br />regulations together with meeting with representatives of City <br />staffs from around the lake and being in attendance at DNR's <br />October 10, 1988 public hearing. <br />cc: Gene Strommen, LMCD Executive Director <br />
