Zoning File #1305 <br />September 28, 1988 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />The applicant and the applicant's architect will be present at the meeting <br />to answer any questions you may have concerning the revised drainage plans. <br />Staff would request a to -scale copy of the final drainage plans by McCombs <br />Frank Roos Associates, Inc. and for a copy of the revised plan showing <br />typical cross sections of the dike, rip -rap specifications and restoration. <br />Staff Reco=endation - <br />To approve the conditional use permit application of Washington <br />Scientific, Inc., for the property located at 2605 Wayzata Boulevard, that <br />would permit the filling and re -grading of approximately 10,000 cubic yards <br />of fill to be used in the final grading of the western elevations of the <br />property per grading plans by the Vogt Corporation dated 5/19/88 revised <br />6/29/88, hydrolic analysis for 100 year storm event by McCombs Frank Roos <br />Associates dated 8/4/88, revised grading/drainage plan by McCombs Frank <br />Roos Associates dated 8/4/88 and revised play, of typical cross section of <br />the dike, rip -rap specifications and restoration by McCombs Frank Roos <br />Associates, based on the following findings: <br />1. The proposed filling and grading of the property will be in accord <br />with the intent of the zoning chapter and the purposes of the district <br />in which the site is located and t►e Comprehensive Municipal Plan of <br />the City. <br />2. The filling and grading of this property has been foun,'A to not. be <br />detrimental to the public health, safety or welfare o: be materially <br />injurious to property or improvements in the vacinity. <br />3. The proposed conditional use permit complies with each of the <br />applicable conditions of the zoning chapter, requiring no variances to <br />the required standards. <br />This approval is subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The area where fill is placed must be seeded as soon as the final <br />grades are approved by the City. <br />2. All work shall be performed per the specifications set forth in <br />the approved plans by the M.C.W.D. and the City of Orono. <br />
