V <br /> � <br /> r: " '.� 01V' <br /> � � �. � <br /> s CITY of ORONO <br /> � , . ;. � <br /> �, ti <br /> �� G'�' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL - <br /> ��kES80g'� NO. � � `� c� <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZO1vING CODE . <br /> SECTION 10.23, SUBDIVISION 6 (B) <br /> FILE NO. 03-2872 <br /> WHEREAS, Terry Morse and Christy Morse, husband and wife, (hereinafter "the <br /> applicants")are the owners of the property located at 2080 Spates Avenue,within the City of Orono <br /> (hereinafter"the City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lots 1,2,3,4,5 and 21,Ora Park on Lake Minnetonka,Hennepin County,Minnesota, <br /> (hereinafter"the property"); and ' <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for a variance from <br /> Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.23, Subdivision 6 (B) to add a second story on the most <br /> • southwesterly portion of the existing principal structure, 20.6' from the side street lot line where <br /> 50'is required, in the LR-lA zoning district; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with . <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing on February 19, 2003, at which time all persons desiring to be <br /> heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to�speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File#03-2872. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-lA Zoning District,where 2 acres is the minimum <br /> required lot area. The property consists of approximately 1.16 acres. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on February 19, 2003 <br /> and recommended approval by a vote of 6 to 0. <br /> � 4.
