Specifically, Council Member Ricks asked whether the Owner had <br />considered locating the pool cabana closer to the pool equipment and changing the cabana's <br />orientation. <br />The Owner has evaluated three locations: <br />• The first location is shown on Exhibit A. This is the location the Owner presented to the <br />Planning Commission, and it required a variance from the average lakeshore setback and <br />the 10-foot setback from the house. The Planning Commission unanimously recommended <br />approval of the variance from the average lakeshore setback if the Owner changed the pool <br />cabana's location to meet the 10-foot setback. <br />• Based on the Planning Commissions' feedback, the Owner revised the plan and presented a <br />second location, which is shown on Exhibit B. The second location is the location the <br />Owner presented to the City Council. This location meets the 10-foot setback and sideyard <br />setback requirements. <br />• Based on the feedback from Council Member Ricks, the Owner evaluated a third location <br />and changed the cabana's orientation. The third location is closer to the pool equipment and <br />shown on Exhibit C. Given the prior feedback, the Owner did not consider moving the pool <br />cabana to a location that is less than 10-feet from the home.
