Metropolitan VN <br />Mears Park Centre, 230 East <br />September 20, 1988 <br />Dear Resident: <br />7 <br />r <br />Commission <br />ul1( NfrraResota 55101 <br />K <br />Construction is expected to begin next Monday, September 26, on the <br />Orono Interceptor Sewer Improvements Project. This $2.2 million <br />construction project is being built by the Metropolitan Waste <br />Control Commission. It is designed to provide additional sewer <br />capacity for the cities of Orono and Minnetonka Beach. <br />Kenco Company of Blaine, the construction firm building the <br />project, is expected to complete project construction on the <br />illowing schedule (please note the project route on the enclosed <br />.Sp) <br />September 26 through November 15, 1986, <br />County Road 51 is expected to be closed to through traffic <br />between County Road 19 and County Road 84 while sewer pipe <br />is installed along the road. In the area between Bohns Point <br />Road and Tonkawa Road, County Road 51 will be totally closed. <br />This is necessary so that piling, made of timber, can be <br />installed to better support the sewer pipe in this area. <br />Access to businesses and local residences is expected to be <br />maintained at all times. <br />Pall and Winter 1968-1989: <br />Sewer pipe is expected to be installed beneath the Noerenberg <br />Bridge and Henrickson Bridge along County Road 51, and <br />beneath the Coffee Bridge along County Road 19. While no <br />road closings should be necessary during this work, some <br />traffic restrictions along with increased truck traffic is <br />expected at these locations. <br />Late May through June 4, 1989: <br />Sewer pipe is expected to be installed along County Road 19, <br />between Fagerness Point Road and the railroad tracks. A <br />partial road closure is expected i.n conjunction with this <br />work. <br />June 4 through Tune 18, 1969: <br />County Road 19 is expected to be closed between County Road <br />51 and Fagerness Point Road while sewer pipe is laid in this <br />area. Access to local residences is expected to be <br />maintained at all times. <br />June 19 through Susaer/tall 1989: <br />Sewer pipe is expected to be installed along County Road 83, <br />north of County Road 51. A partial. road closure is expected <br />in conjunction with this work.
