Clean Water Grant Project <br />September 20, 1988 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />As noted in Attachment A, the initial estimate for a grant application <br />would be between $6,000 to $8,000. Presently the Conservation District, <br />after discussions with the P.C.A., estimate this to be closer to $4,000 to <br />$6,000 to prepare it. <br />Present indications of support are that the City of Long Lake has submitted <br />a petition indicating their support with Hennepin County giving them the <br />initial indication of contribution of $500 to $1,000. It is our <br />understanding that the District will probably go ahead if they get support <br />in the form of resolutions from the cities. <br />ALTERNATIVES - <br />1. Issue 1. Is the Council interested in support of the project? <br />a) Support the project. <br />b) Suggest alternatives to the project to correct the problem. <br />c) Table for further study. <br />d) Take no action. <br />e) Decline support. <br />2. Issue 2. Level of support should the City choose to support the <br />1,roject? <br />a) Adopt the ^roposed resolution. <br />b) Amend and adopt. <br />c) Indicate financial support. <br />d) Table for further discussion. <br />e) Take no action. <br />
