Draft Council Minutes <br />Application Summary: <br />The applicants are requesting hardcover and structural coverage variances in order to construct an 80 <br />s.f. covered porch entry in the place of an existing 76 s.f. deck <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />On April 18, 2005, Planning Commission voted 4 -3 to recommend approval of the structural <br />coverage and hardcover variances for construction of an 80 s.f. covered porch entry stipulating <br />hardcover removals as follows: <br />• All plastic and fabric liners from landscape beds, and play areas (if applicable) and <br />• The "rock fire ring" as noted on the survey; and <br />• An additional 250 s.f. of driveway hardcover. <br />Council Action May 9th <br />The hardcover and structural coverage variances were approved for the 80 s.f. covered porch at the <br />May 9th Council meeting in conjunction with hardcover removals as follows: <br />1. All plastic and fabric liners from landscape areas; and <br />2. A rock fire ring; and <br />3. 250 s.f. of driveway hardcover. <br />Planning Staff Recommendation <br />Approve the attached Resolution. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Approve or amend the attached Resolution.
