The <br />purpose of this joint request is to allow re-grading of the slope and install subterranean <br />retaining walls to stabilize a substantial portion of the lakeshore bank on each of the <br />properties. <br />Sharratt Design Company, LLC on behalf of James & Kathlyn Wyman, 1185 Ferndale <br />Road West, LR-1A zoning district requests approval of a setback variance to permit <br />portion of a new driveway within the required 35' setback from the wetland. <br />Dale Gustafson on behalf of Barbara Burwell, 1100 Millston Rd, LR-1A zoning district <br />requests request approval of a conditional use permit and setback variance to allow <br />retaining walls (below grade) within 75 feet of the OHWL of Lake Minnetonka and <br />potentially exceeding the allowed 50 cubic yards of earth movement. The purpose of this <br />joint request is to allow re-grading of the slope and install subterranean retaining walls to <br />stabilize a substantial portion of the lakeshore bank on the property. <br />Jon Ressler, 3683 North Shore Dr, LR-1 C zoning district, requests variances to construct <br />an attached garage to the home one (1) foot from the north side lot line where a one foot <br />setback currently exists for the detached garage; construct a second story addition over <br />the existing and new portions of the home one foot from the north side lot line; 3 feet from <br />the south side lot line; 35 feet from the OHWL where a 75 foot setback is required; 5 feet <br />ahead of the average lakeshore setback; and resulting in 1,764 sf of structure where <br />1,781 sf currently exists; and 47.5% proposed hardcover where 44.5% hardcover exists <br />and 25% is normally permitted. <br />Michael and Lisa Larson request an amendment to the Zoning Code definitions and to the <br />B-1 District Permitted Uses to permit dog boarding/kennels. <br />Chris Lappen & Kallyn Bialowas, 3409 East Lake Street, LR-1A zoning district, request <br />side yard setback; lake setback; average lakeshore setback; hardcover and structural <br />coverage variances in addition to a conditional use permit to allow fill within the 100-year <br />floodplain. They propose to construct a 21 'x21' detached garage, resulting in 49% <br />hardcover where 60% exists and 25% is permitted; and 1,526 sf of structure where 1,500 <br />is permitted and 1,085 currently exists; to be constructed 3 feet from the side lot line <br />where a 1 O' setback is normally required, 18.5' from the OHWL where a 75' setback is <br />required, and ahead of the average lakeshore setback. <br />Jon Norris & Catherine Morrison and Patrick & Melissa Mulheran, 460 Orchard Park Rd, <br />RR-1A zoning district, request a 2 lot subdivision. <br />Julie Lensing, 3349 Crystal Bay Rd, LR-1 C zoning district, requests lake setback, and <br />average lakeshore setback variances in order to construct a second level addition to the
