CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />6546 NO. _________ _ <br />2. The Property is located in the LR-1 C One Family Lakeshore Residential Zoning <br />District which requires a minimum lot area of 0.5 acres and a minimum lot width of <br />100'. <br />3. The Planning Commission reviewed this application at a public hearing held on <br />August 17, 2015 and voted 6 for and O against on a motion to approve the <br />conditional use permit. The Planning Commission finds that the following factors <br />support the granting of the request: <br />a. The Property has 0.28 acres in area (or 12,308 square feet). <br />b. The Property has approximately 50 feet of width at the OHWL and <br />approximately 50 feet at the 75-foot setback <br />c. Development of the Property for residential use is consistent with the <br />Community Management Plan. <br />d. The project will conform to all applicable zoning requirements. <br />e. The Property is adequately served by police, fire, roads, and stormwater <br />management. <br />f. The Property is provided with an adequate water supply and sewage disposal <br />system; in the opinion of staff this criterion is met. <br />g. The proposed use is not expected to generate excessive demand for public <br />services at public cost. <br />h. Development of the Property for residential use is compatible and consistent <br />with the neighborhood and surrounding uses. <br />i. The proposed use is compatible with the character of buildings and site <br />improvements in the surrounding area. <br />j. The request for grading and filling within the floodplain will be reviewed by <br />Minnehaha Creek Watershed District and a 1 :1 mitigation will be required to <br />offset any impacts from the filling activity. <br />k. The project is not anticipated to result in undesirable views or sustained activity <br />so as to disturb neighbors. <br />Page 2 of?
