�: .. . � <br /> t <br /> � O� <br /> � O '`-� O <br /> - CITY of ORONO <br /> ,� ' - ;. �, <br /> ti <br /> ��� �G�' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> `�kEs8�4 NO. � O �� � <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br /> POST-EMPLOYMENT HEALTH CARE SAVINGS PLAN <br /> AND AMENDING THE PERSONNEL POLICY ` <br /> TO REFLECT THE CHANGE <br /> WHEREAS,IRS rules allow cities to create Post-Emplo�ment Health Care Savings Plans <br /> (HCSPs) for their employees; and <br /> WHEREAS,an HCSP provides substantial tax savings in relation to the payment of health <br /> care costs; and , <br /> WHEREAS,the City's non-union employees have agreed on the design of an HCSP. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Cirir Council of the City of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> � <br /> 1. That the following Post-Employment Health Care Savings Plan be adopted: <br /> Emplovee Pavroll Contribution <br /> Employees with 0-5 years of service will contribute 0% of pay. <br /> Employees with 6-10 years of service will contribute 1% of pay. <br /> Employees with 11-15 years of service will contribute 0% of pay. <br /> Employees with 16-20 years of service will contribute 1% of pay. <br /> Employees with 21+years of service will contribute 1% of pay. <br /> Severance Contribution <br /> Employees with 0-5 years of service will contribute 0% of pay. <br /> � Employees with 6-10 years of service will contribute 100%of pay. <br /> Employees with 11-15 years of service will contribute 100% of pay. <br /> Employees with 16-20 years of service will contribute 100% of pay. <br /> Employees with 21+yeazs of service will contribute 100% of pay. <br /> � 2. That the City's Personnel Policy be amended to reflect these changes. <br /> 3. That the policy establishing the Health Care Savings Plan will be reviewed within . <br /> two years. � <br /> � • Page 1 of 2 <br />
