MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD JULY 11, 1988 <br />ATTENDANCE 7:05 F.N. <br />The Council met on the above date with the following members <br />present: Mayor Grabek, Councilmembers Goetten► Peterson, and <br />Callahan. The following represented the City staff: City <br />Administrator Bernhardson, Public Works Director Gerhardson, <br />Building & Zoning Administrator Mabusth, Assistant Planning & <br />Zoning Administrator Gaffron, City Clerk Hallin and City Recorder <br />Schef£ler. City Attorney Barrett and City Engineer Cook were also <br />present. <br />CONSENT AGENDA* <br />It was moved by Councilmembar Callahan and seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to approve the Consent Agenda subject to <br />the revision of the following item: <br />$2 - Approval of Minutes - Regular Meeting of June 27, .1968. <br />Councilmember Goetten req•.,ested that the minutes be corrected to <br />reflect that she had more comment regarding Request of ordinance <br />Amendment - Solicitor's Ordinance (page 12 of June 27, 1988 <br />Minutes). Rather than merely commenting that the situation was <br />unfortunate, she further commented that she "felt that the Council <br />needs to be looking at the County Road 15 area as a tota: picture <br />including this specific area". There were no objections to this <br />correction, Callahan moved to adopt the Minutes as corrected, <br />Peterson seconded, all in favor, motion passed. <br />PLANNING 70MMISSION COMMENTS <br />Planning Commissioner Cohen was present and had no comments. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />There were no comments from the public. <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: !� <br />#1025 ED HENRICH <br />4115 HIGHWOOD ROAD <br />VARIANCE <br />CONCEPTUAL RESOLUTION <br />It was requested by the Applicants that this matter be tabled. <br />until the July 25, 1988 Counr7i 1 Meeting. i <br />#1275 DOUGLAS JOHNSON <br />1399 PARR DRIVE <br />VARIANCE <br />RESOLUTION 12463 <br />Mr.and Mrs. Johnson were present for this matter. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained that this was a request( <br />for sel►eral variances for a substantial reconstruction of thei <br />house on the property. it does require a hardcover variance in <br />the 0-75, although the hardcover is actually beinq reduced fromi <br />6.5• to 4.5% in the 0-75. A new deck is proposed to replace in <br />
