City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING THE WEER OF <br />SEPTEMBER 17 THROUGH 23, 198E AS <br />CONSTITUTION WEER <br />r <br />WHEREAS, it is the privilege and duty of the American <br />people to commemorate the two hundred first anniversary of the <br />drafting of the Constitution of the United States of America with <br />appropriate ceremonies and activities; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Law No. 915 guarantees the issuance of a <br />proclamation by the President of the United States of America, <br />designating September 17 through 23 of each year as Constitution <br />Week. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Mayor and Council of <br />the City of Orono do hereby proclaim the week of September 17 <br />through 23, 1988 as <br />CONSTITOTIOM WEEK <br />and urge all cit:izend to study the Constitution, to express <br />gratitude for the privilege of American citizenship in our <br />Republic functioning under the superb body of laws - the <br />Constitution of the United States of America. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, <br />Minnesota at a regular meeting held this 12th day of September, <br />1988. <br />Jades R.—Grabek, Mayor <br />ATTL <br />Dorothy M.
