THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into by and between the <br />State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation, hereinafter <br />referred to as the "State," and the City of Orono, hereinafter <br />referred to as the "City," WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the State has determined that there is <br />justification and it is in the public's best interest to install <br />hazard identification beacons with street lights on Trunk Highway <br />No. 12 (Wayzata Boulevard) at Willow Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the City and State will share in the <br />maintenance and operation of the hazard identification beacons <br />with street lights as hereinafter set forth; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The State shall prepare the necessary plan, <br />specifications and proposal and shall perform the engineering and <br />inspection required to complete the items of work hereinafter set <br />forth. <br />2. The State shall install or cause the installation <br />of the hazard identification beacons with street lights on Trunk <br />Highway No. 12 (Wayzata Boulevard) at Willow Drive in accordance <br />with the plan and specifications for State Project No. 2713--58 <br />and Federal Project No. HF.S 010-2(8;) all at its own cost and <br />expense. <br />3. The Cit:- shall provide an adequate electrical <br />power supply to the service pad or pole, and upon completion of <br />said hazard identification beacons with street lights <br />65149M <br />- 1 - <br />
