Gerhardson, Public Works Director <br />Date: September 2, 1988 <br />Subject: MnDot Flasher Lite Maintenance Agreement Willow Drive & <br />Highway 12 <br />Attached for review and approval is an agreement for <br />maintenance of the proposed flasher lite at Willow Drive & <br />Highway 12. The agreement is necessary to establish maintenance <br />of the flasher lite once it is installed. Because the <br />intersection of Highway 12 and Willow Drive is in Orono and Long <br />Lake, the cities share of the maintenance will be shared 50/50. <br />Long Lake has by Council action agreed to reimburse Orono <br />for 50% of Orono's share of the maintenance costs. Estimate of <br />the maintenance costs at this time is $350.00 per year total. <br />Recommendation to approve the maintenance agreement with MnDot <br />for the maintenance of a flasher lite at Highway 12 at Willow <br />Drive and to bill Long Lake for 50% of those costs. <br />Proposed !lotion: Moved by , seconded by , to approve the <br />maintenance agreement with ?InDot for the maintenance agreement of <br />flasher lite at Highway 12 & Willow Drive and to bill Long Lake <br />for 50% of those costs.
