Plastics are <br />becomming more recyclable. Polka Lot Recycling will be accepting <br />the PET (pop bottles) plastic and the HDPE (milk jugs) plastic in <br />the Spring of 1989. Initially, these will only be accepted at <br />the drop-off centers, but it is hoped that they will be <br />incorporated into the curbside pick up in the near futurt. <br />Mayor Grabek thanked Ms. Vigoren for her information and <br />expr,­ssed his opinion regarding the importance of recycling. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTX3* <br />It was mov- by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson, to approve the Minutes of the February 27, 1989 Regular <br />Council Meeting. The Berrys were requesting <br />variances for hardcover and average Lakeshore setback, as we II as <br />a conditional use permit, in orde to construct a new residence. <br />t)unci"member Goetten mentioned the fact that she had seen 2 <br />pi`r of dirt located near the lakeshore on the Berrys propercy. <br />&hf zed Mr. Lund if he knew why it was there. Mr. Fund replied <br />the. ie did not know, but would look into the matter.
