411:�r <br />jL <br />SPECIFICATIONS <br />FOR MON 14MM AND LANDSCAPING <br />AT THE INTERSECTION OF WILW1 AND COUNTRYSIDE DRIVES <br />]. Monument Dimensions: <br />a. The monuments shall consist of a convex curved wall, as viewed <br />from Willow Drive. Tht- main part of each wall will be 40" in height <br />and approximately 24 feet running length (along the curve). <br />b. Each wall will have an end post at each end, which will be 16" <br />square and 52" in height. Each end post will have a carriage style <br />light fixture on top. <br />2. Set -backs: <br />a. Countryside Drive: 32 Feet from centerline; 8 Feet fran edge <br />of pavement; 6.5 Feet from property line. <br />b. Willow Drive: 43 Feet from centerline; 23 Feet fran edge of <br />pavement; 7 Feet from property line. <br />c. Trees and shrubery exceeding 30" in height shall be located <br />behind the monuments. Shrubery located in front of the monuments <br />shall be 30" or less in height. <br />3. Corner Triangles: <br />The entire monument shall be constructed outside the "30 Foot <br />triangle" at each side of the intersection. The front of the <br />monument, 40 inches in height, shall be tangent to the "42 Foot <br />triangle" line. The end posts, 52 inches in height, shall be <br />tangent to the "48 Foot triangle" line. <br />4. Electrical Wiring: <br />a. Underground wiring, inside PVC pipe, has been run under <br />Countryside Drive, in order to provide power to the light fixtures <br />on each monument. <br />b. NSP has installed a power hook-up at the monument site, and <br />will install a meter on the back of the north side monument. <br />5. Materials: <br />a. The monuments shall consist of ooncrete block footings 4 feet <br />below grade, and brown, "used brick look" brick above grade. <br />b. ibe landscaping shall consist of varigated dogwood shrubs and <br />Colorade blue spruce trees behind the monuments, and Sea Green <br />Junipers and varigated hosts in front of the monuments. The hosta <br />will form an edging along Countryside Drive, but will i,ot approach <br />Willow Drive. The edge of Willow Drive and the current drainage <br />ditch will not be chanc3d. <br />c. Ground onver around the Junipers and hosta will be shredded <br />tree bark. <br />
