7298A 1 <br />4T-TAO-HaCNT A <br />Mayor <br />Dear Mayor <br />Recently you recieved a letter from Mayor Smith of Mound <br />regarding a resoltuion of support for the City of Minnetrista in <br />their lawsuit against Hennepin Parks over the Regional Park <br />issue. At its July 11, 1988 meeting the Orono Council adopted a <br />resolution of support. <br />In discussing what support beyond a resolution was <br />appropriate, the Council indicated an interest in possibly <br />undertaking an amicus curiae brief. It was felt that a joint <br />effort by the cities around the lake may be an effective way to <br />support Minnetrista. <br />Should you have an interest in this effort or alternative <br />ideas please return the attached sheet to determine preliminary <br />interest.
