� °� <br /> • � � ° <br /> -� � CITY of ORONO <br /> � , �b • � <br /> � <br /> � G RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ��kESSOg'� • NO. c� O � � � <br /> A RESOLUTION DECLARING <br /> CERTAIN PROPERTY TO BE ABANDONED AND <br /> REQUESTING AUTHORIZATION TO DISPOSE OF SAID PROPERTY <br /> WHEREAS, the Orono Police Department has come into lawful possession of certain <br /> property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Orono Police Department has drafted a Request for Council Action and <br /> identified the property in an addendum to the Request for Council Action, and <br /> WHEREAS, this property has been in the possession of the Police Department for more <br /> than 60 days; and <br /> � WHEREAS, the owners of said property have either failed to respond to notification or <br /> • the owners of said property cannot be identified, and <br /> WHEREAS, City Ordinance allows for the disposal of abandoned or unclaimed property <br /> and the Police Department is seeking authorization to dispose of said property pursuant to <br /> Ordinance. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Orono <br /> that: <br /> 1. The Police Department be authorized to dispose of said surplus property by public <br /> auction through Soderholm Auction Company, or <br /> 2. Give non-salable items to Charity, or <br /> 3.
