Whitacre, Senior Warden of St. Edward the Confessor <br /> Episcopal Church, is owner of the property located at 865 Ferndale Road North within the City of <br /> Orono (hereinafter"the City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Exhibit A, attached (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a conditional use permit per <br /> Municipal Zoning Code Sections 1.0.28, Subdivision 3(A) and 10.20, Subdivision 3(B)to permit a <br /> church use on the propeiLy iii iiiC RR-in zoiiilig uisirict; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing on July 21,2003, at which time all persons desiring to be heard <br /> concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File#03-2920. <br /> 2. Churches are a conditional use in the RR-1B zoning district,subject to the proposed <br /> use meeting all requirements of the Zoning Chapter and subject to Conditional Use <br /> Permit approval by the City Council. <br /> Metro Leon!
