. � °� <br /> w; O O <br />� � �� CITY f <br /> z o URONO <br /> a � ;.� � <br /> ti <br /> ��� �G'�' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY C��OUNCIL <br /> `�kEsKO4 rvo. 5 0 � <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.23 SUBDIVISION 6(B) <br /> FILE NO. 03-2918 <br /> WHEREAS, Bruce Singer and Linda Singer, husband & wife, (hereinafter "the <br /> applicants") are the owners of the property located at 330 Tonka Avenue within the City of Orono <br /> (hereinafter the "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lots 15, 16 & 17, Block 5, Bayside Addition to Lake Minnetonka, Hennepin County, <br /> Minnesota <br /> (hereinafter the "property"); and <br /> • WHEREAS,the applicants have made application to the City of Orono for a variance <br /> to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Sections 10.23 Subdivision 6(B)to allow construction of a new <br /> single family home on a substandard lot. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> � FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File#03-2918. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-lA Single Family Lakeshore Residential District, <br /> which requires minimum lot area of 2 acre and minimum lot width of 200'. The area <br /> of the property is 0.43 acres (18,750 s.f.) and defined lot width is 150'. <br /> 3. The Planning Commission reviewed this application at a public hearing held on <br /> July 21,2003 and recommended approval side yard setback,based on the following � <br /> findings: <br /> a) No additional land is available for acquisition by the applicants to make the <br /> properly conforming in area or width. <br /> � 1 <br />
