Draft Resolution of Appointment <br />IS_S_U_E - Selection of a-i individual to fi l l a vacancy that <br />currently exists on the Council. <br />IN_T_RO_DUCTION - Following the interviews at the Council's July 11, <br />1998 meeting the Council tabled the selection of an individual <br />for the vacancy to the July 25, 1988 meeting. <br />ALTERNATTVES <br />1. Indicate appreciation to all candidates who applied and <br />request that they continue their interest in the community for <br />possible service in other areas. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that the Council make a <br />selection for a Council candidate _,d that they direct staff to <br />send thank yous to the other applicants expressing the <br />appreciation for their interest in this position and extend an <br />invitation for them to serve in other capacities within the City <br />as vacancies should arise. <br />PROPOSED <br />MOTION - Moved by <br />seconded by <br />, that the Council <br />appoint <br />__, <br />by the adoption of <br />Resolution, <br />for the Council <br />seat for <br />the term of __ through <br />__ Ayes __ays <br />N__ <br />
