Minnesota <br />55323 <br />RE: VARIANCE APPLICATION <br />Gentlemen/Ladies: <br />In my letter of June 30, 1988 concerning my Variance Application I reviewed the <br />problem of carpenter ant infestation of our original deck which required demol- <br />ishiny and replacing it. Enclosed is a picture which shows the original deck <br />and stairs described in my letter. <br />Also enclosed for your information is a picture showing part of the devastation <br />of the shoreline which has now been restored at a cost of approximately $60,000. <br />I should also point out that the shoreline prior to the storm was partially <br />covered by slabs of field stone to help stabilize it. Also, there was a field <br />stone patio at the lakeshore of approximately 8' x 12'. All of the field stone <br />rip -rap and patio was done by previous owners. <br />Sincerely. <br />
