Average lakeshore setback encroachment variance. <br />4. Allow structure to be located partially in 0- 75' lakeshore <br />setback zone. <br />5. Allow continuation of 1.8'-2.3' side setback (NOTE: maximum <br />allowed overhang is 1.5' along east wall of house along lot <br />l i ne 1 1 Reduce from 2' proposed 1 1) <br />6. Items 4 and 5 are subject to retraction if it is determined <br />that the foundation must be replaced. If the foundation must be <br />replaced, the house must be relocated to meet all required <br />setbacks. <br />NOTE: The Building Inspections Department has preliminarily reviewed <br />your plans, which indicate an existing 8" brick foundation. Your <br />designer has correctly noted that the 8" foundation as -is will not <br />support the additions, but he has apparently declined to determine the <br />pilaster requirements. You must have a structural engineer certify <br />the foundation and proposed basement support walls and bums and <br />determine what changes must be made to support the structure. Again, <br />note that if the foundation must he replaced, you will be required to <br />move the house. This certification mu:_:t be completed prior to this <br />2pj2lication being scheduled for Council action. <br />Applicant's next scheduled meeting is dependent upon receipt of <br />additional information.
