Gerhardson, Public <br />Works Coordinatb�����. <br />r.CPNG <br />DATE: <br />July <br />7, 1986 <br />JUL 11 <br />1y;:., <br />SDBJ: Crystal Bay Sewer Hook-up Status <br />'S ^- G <br />On June 13, 1988, staff presented Council a list of Crystal Bay' <br />residents that have not connected to the sanitary sewer system. <br />The deadline for connection was October 11, 1987. <br />Of the thirteen properties not connected, one is a vacant lot and <br />will be removed from the list, three are in easement <br />negotiations, one is still in the appeal process, and one is an <br />uninhabited dwelling. The seven remaining had indicated <br />previously that they would be connected by July 1, 1988. To this <br />date, there have been no connection permits issued for those <br />seven properties. <br />Staff is currently discussing the issue with the legal staff to <br />determine the appropriate action. <br />Recommendation - That Council direct staff to continue to work <br />with the legal staff to determine appropriate action and to <br />proceed with legal action if necessary. <br />PROPOSED MOTION: moved, seconded, to direct staff to <br />continue to work with the legal staff to determine appropriate <br />action and to proceed with legal action if necessary.
