Since sending you this notice and a variance <br />application, we have had no response f-rom you and assumed you <br />decided not to proceed with the project. On 4/27/88 while in the <br />area, staff noted that a deck had been constructed on your <br />property. Building without a permit in in violation of Uniform <br />Building Code Section 301(A), and encroachment of the average <br />lakeshore setback is in violation of Orono Municipal Code Section <br />10.22, Subdivision l(B). <br />This letter is to notify you that since you were told you <br />needed a variance, and a building permit, but chose not to do so <br />and because our records show work has been done in the past on <br />your property without a permit, the city is cititing you for the <br />above violations. The City requires that you remove the illegal <br />deck to correct the above violations within 7 days or citations <br />will be issued for each day you are in violation.
