Based on all the information we have <br />available, this addition will not encroach on the existing <br />septic system, nor will it reduce the non-existent septic <br />expansion area on the lot. <br />Please nose that building plans should be reviewed to <br />ensure that no additional bedrooms are created. The <br />exi_sting septic system is substandard in size and capacity, <br />but we have no record of failure (the drainfied was replaced <br />in 1976). <br />Also, should variances be granted, the applicant should <br />be warned to keep all construction traffic off the drainfield. <br />While this will certainly be an inconvenience, there is <br />absolutely no room for a new system is the existing system <br />is disturbed. <br />
