Zoning Administra i <br />FROM: Michael Gaffron, Septic System Inspector <br />DATE: December 7, 1978 <br />SUBJECT: Non -conforming Septic System - 1270 Arbor Street <br />A routine site inspection for a zoning code voriance application <br />was made at this property on December 7, 1978. Inspection revealed <br />that the existing drainfield is discharging septic effluent directly <br />to the ground surface in the back yard creating a hazardous situation <br />and a public nuisance. Pursuant to normal procedure, the owner was <br />sent an inspection report requiring that the drainfield be repaired <br />within ninety (90) days or as weather permits and that the current <br />situation be alleviated by pumping as often as necessary 1intil the <br />drainfield is repaired. I would recommend that no additional living <br />space be allowed until the septic system is repaired. Please note <br />also that the Crystal Bay area is scheduled for municipal sewer <br />possibly within three to four years. <br />
