ORDINANCE #80, SECOND SERILI <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PERFORMANCE STANDARDS TO THE <br />ACCESSORY STRUCTURE SECTION OF THE ORONO MUNICIPAL CODE <br />The City Counr ' of Orono Ordains as follows: <br />Section 1. C. :er 10 of the Municipal Code of Orono is <br />hereby amended by amending Section 10.03 Subdivision 14(C) to <br />read as follows: <br />Section 10.03 Subdivision 14. _arils and Coen Spaces. <br />C. Lot coverage. In all zoning districts, for 311 lots <br />of 0-1.99 acre in total area, the total combined footprint areas <br />of all principal and accessory structures shall not exceed 15% of <br />the lot area. The following shall be included in calculation of <br />lot coverage by structures: <br />1990. <br />1. All roofed structures which extend more than 6' <br />above grade level. <br />2. Tennis courts, patios, decks, and all similar "open" <br />structures when partially or fully enclosed by fences, <br />railings or walls which extend more than 6' above grade <br />level (if any portion of such structures extends more <br />than 6' above grade level, the entire structure shall <br />count toward lot coverage). <br />3. Pools, including pool basin and associated deck or <br />patio areas, regardler=; of whether such pool basin, <br />deck, or patio is enclosed with a fence. <br />This ordinance becomes effective upon publication. <br />Passed by the City Council this 26th day of February, <br />Edward J.
