The aunt previously lived at <br />1399 Orono Lane two houses tc the west of the subject property. <br />The subject property had been owned by applicant's mother, Margaret Lomax <br />Thomas and was the owner of the property at the time the guest apartment <br />within the detached garage had ceased being used. At the time of the sewer <br />project in 1980, the then current owner had asked only for one sewer stu., <br />connection for the principal residence. The present connection to the <br />house was located under the existing garage. The City took the position <br />that if the sewer line were to remain under the existing garage that all <br />
