r • <br /> The Villaqe Clerl: shall present such application <br /> to the Council and the Council shall , at the same or <br /> any subsequent meeting, pass upon such application <br /> and may in its discretion aut}iorize the issuance of <br /> suc:h license to the applicant, sul�ject to such condi- <br /> tions as the Council may deem n�cessary and expedient <br /> for the protection of the heal tli anc� c��neral welfare <br /> of the Village. <br /> 69A. 040. License I'ee and '1'erm. License fees shall <br /> be $100 per year, expir.ing on Sept.ernb�r 30 of each year. <br /> Requests for ren�wal of. a license under �his chapter <br /> must be accom�anied by an up to c�ate certification <br /> signed by an authorized engineer_ stating that the ski <br /> area and all ski equipment and structures theieon com- <br /> ply with the standards of safcty established by the <br /> National Ski Areas Association. <br /> 69A. 050 . Compli.ance witli Other Applicable <br /> Regulations. Licensc�e must com��ly with the Municipal <br /> CodE: of the Village of Orono anc� any applicable <br /> statutes or regulations regardinc� i�he saiety of users <br /> of their ski equipment, total facilitics aricl gr_ounds , <br /> and insure that no conditions c�xist on the premises <br /> which adversely affect the puk�lic health, saf.ety and <br /> welfare. <br /> 69A. 060. Transfer of License. Any license issued ' <br /> pursuant to this chapter shall be transfe.rred only upon <br /> application for such transfer in writing, conforming in • <br /> all respects with the provisions of this chapter gavern- <br /> ing the filing of an original application; and said <br /> application for transfer shall be accompanied by a trans- <br /> fer fee of $10 . <br /> 69A. 070. Insurarice. Each licensee sha11 maintain <br /> public liability insurance in an amount of noi� less than <br /> $100 , 000 per person per incidcnt for injury c�r death. <br /> 69A. 080 . Revocation. The Council may revoke oz sus- <br /> � pend any license under this chapter upon the f_inding of <br /> the Village Council that there has heen a violation of <br /> any of the provisions of this ch��pter or other al�plicable <br /> statutes or requlai�ions , or a failure to ak�ide Uy any of <br /> the conditions of this license or any otlier permits � <br /> granted und�r this code. <br />
