ORDINANC� PdO. 183 <br /> AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 9, SECTION 9.020 AND SECTION 9.030 <br /> OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF ORONO TO DECREASE THE SIZE OF THE PARK <br /> COMP4I S S I ON <br /> , <br /> THE CITY COUPdCIL OF THE CITY OF ORONO ORDAIFIS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section l. Section 9.020 of Chapter 9 of the Municipal <br /> Code of Qrono is hereby amended as follows: <br /> 9.020. Com�osition. The Park Commission <br /> shall consist of nine members, who shall be <br /> appointed by the city council and may be <br /> removed individually by a four-fifths vote of <br /> the Council; and in addition, the Council shall <br /> appoint one member of the Commission from its <br /> own members who shall be ex-officio and without <br /> vote, such Council member to be appointed for <br /> one year commencing in January of each year. <br /> 9.030. Terms. The appointed members shall hold office <br /> for three years or until their successors are appointed and <br /> qualified. The terms of ex-officio members shall correspond <br /> with their respective office terms, except �hat the Councilmember <br /> shall be appointed for one year commencing January 1 of each <br /> year. Vacancies during the term shall be filled by the Council <br /> for the unexpired portion of the term. Every appointed member, <br /> before entering upon the discharge of his duties, shall take <br /> an oath that he will faithfully discharge the duties of his <br /> office. A�1 members shall serve without compensation. <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall be published in <br /> the Lake Minnetonka Sun and shall be effective upon publication. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at <br /> a regular meeting held January 26, 1976 by a vote of 3 ayes <br /> and �nays. � <br /> �� <br /> Robert L.
