Qrdinance No. 223 <br /> Page 6 <br /> 19.310 Fireworks Uniform Fire Code Article 12, Section 12.102 <br /> is hereby amended by adding Section 12.102(d) to read as follows : <br /> 12. 102(d) Fireworks Permits as required in this Section <br /> shall be issued by the Chief of the Orono Police <br /> Department and not by the Fire Chief. The <br /> Police Chief shall give notice to the Fire Chief <br /> whenever a fireworks permit is issued. <br /> 19. 320 Bulk Plants Uniform Fire Code Article 15, Section 15.601 <br /> is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 15.601 Because of limited fire protection capabilities <br /> and the lack of suitable industrially zoned <br /> properties, no new bulk plant for the storage of <br /> flammable or combustible liquids shall be constructed <br /> within the City. <br /> 19.400 ENFORCEMENT <br /> 19.401 Violations and Penalties <br /> 1. Any person who fails to comply with, or violates any of the <br /> provisions of the Fire Code or this Ordinance, or who shall <br /> violate or fail to comply with any order made thereunder, or <br /> who shall buitd in violation of any detailed sta�ement or <br /> specifications or plans submitted and approved thereunder, or any <br /> certificate or permit issued thereunder, and from which no <br /> appeal has been taken, or who shall fail to comply with such <br /> an order as affirmed or modified by the City Council or by a <br /> court of competent jurisdiction, within the time fixed herein, <br /> shall be subject to a fine of not more than $500 or imprisonment <br /> for a period not to exceed 90 days, or both, such fine and <br /> 4 imprisonment pursuant to the provisions of the statutes of the <br /> State of Minnesota, Chapter 335, Section 5. The imposition <br /> of one penalty for any violation shall not excuse the violation <br /> or permit it to continue: and all such persons shall be required <br /> to correct or remedy such violations or defects within a � <br /> reasonable time; and when not otherwise specified, each day <br /> that prohibited conditions are maintained shall constitute a <br /> separate offense. <br />
