. � <br /> ` ORDINANCE NO. 217 - <br /> Page 2 <br /> B) In the event that the applicant does not provide a <br /> State of Minnesota Department of Health Bonding and <br /> Insurance Certificate, the applicant shall procure and <br /> file with the City a satisfactory surety and penalty <br /> bond in a minimum amount of $2, 000. Such bond shall be <br /> continued • in effect at all times by the licensee, and <br /> shall contain a provision that it may not be cancelled <br /> until at least 30 days written notice of the intention <br /> to cancel shall have been given to the City by the bonding <br /> company. The bond will be forfeited to the city if the <br /> licensee does not well and truly perform all work in <br /> accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. The <br /> ' licensee and bond shall hold harmless and indemnify the <br /> city from any claims against the city� arising out of <br /> the licensee' s business, and furth er will restore and � <br /> pay for any damage which may be done to any city property <br /> by the licensee. The applicant shall also procure and <br /> maintain satisfactory liability insurance against damages <br /> arising from the licensee' s business, such insurance to <br /> be in the following minimum amounts: Public Liability <br /> Insurance, including Products Liability Insurance of at <br /> least $50,000 -per person and $100,000 per occurrence, and <br /> Property Damage Insurance of at least $10,000. A current <br /> certificate of insurance shall be filed with the city at <br /> the time of license application. <br /> - 25.312 Section Repealed <br /> C) Fee - There shall be no fee charged by the City for <br /> . licensing of Master Plumbers. <br /> D) Approval by Council - Applicant shall satisfy the City <br /> Council that the applicant is qualified by training and <br /> experience to engage in the business of constructing sewer <br /> connections in accordance with the requirements of this <br /> code. <br /> E) License Revocation - Upon complaint by the City Engineer <br /> or City Inspector that the licensee has failed to provide <br /> � the City with all required reports or information, or has <br /> failed to correct or replace work when required by the <br /> inspector, or has in any other way caused the city to <br /> question the ability of the licensee to do business according <br /> to the provisions of this code, the licensee shall be noti- <br /> fied of a hearing before the City Council to determine why <br /> the license should not be revoked and the bond forfeited. <br />
