No new <br /> water heating installation made after November 1, 1961 will be served under <br /> this rate. <br /> Rate Ener�y Charge: <br /> 1.54fi per kilowatt-hour <br /> Excess Wattage Charge: <br /> One Element Tank - If the capacity of the heating element exceeds 20 <br /> watts per gallon of tank capacity, an additional charge of 10� per <br /> month per whole 100 watts will be made for such excess capacity. <br /> Two Element Tank - If the capacity of the bottom element exceeds 20 watts <br /> per gallon of tank capacity or the top element exceeds 4500 watts, an <br /> additional charge of 10� per month per whole 100 watts will be made for <br /> the greater of such excess capacities. <br /> Fuel Clause Bills subject to the adjustment provided for in Fuel Clause <br /> Rider No. 1. <br /> Monthly Minimum Charge $2.00 <br /> Time Control An electrical control device will be furnished by Company which <br /> will control the service so that no energy will be supplied during the follow- <br /> ing periods: 10:00 a.m, to Noon and 4:00 p.m, to 7:00 p.m, or such other daily <br /> period or periods as the Company may elect from time to time but not to exceed <br /> a total of five hours daily. <br /> Approved Controlled Water Heating Installation The specifications for an <br /> approved controlled water heating installation under this rate are as follows: <br /> 1. The water heater shall be of the storage type, equipped with one or two <br /> thermostatically operated noninductive heating elements designed for 240 volts <br /> (208 volts in some co�nercial areas). <br /> 2. If the water heater is of the two-ele�nt type it shall have one element <br /> near the bottom and the other not more than one-fourth the distance from the <br /> top of the tank and so connected or interlocked that they cannot operate <br /> simultaneously. <br /> (Continued on following sheet) <br /> AA <br />
