w 9 <br /> GENERAL WATER HEATING SERVICE <br /> Availability Available to any customer for single or three phase service at <br /> 208 volts or higher, uncontrolled as to time of use, for an Approved Water <br /> Heating Installation supplied through a separate meter. <br /> Rate Energy Charge: <br /> First 100 kilowatt-hours per month per kilowatt of demand @ 1.63� per kwh <br /> Excess " " " " " " " " @ 1 35 " " <br /> . <br /> Excess Wattage Charge: <br /> An additional charge of $1.50 per 1000 watts or fraction thereof will <br /> be made for connected loads in excess of: <br /> a. storage tank installation <br /> 350 watts per gallon of tank capacity. <br /> b. swiumiing pool installation <br /> 50 watts per square foot of water surface area of swinnning pools. <br /> Fuel Clause Bills subject to the �djustment provided for in Fuel Clause <br /> Rider No. 1. <br /> Monthly Minimum Charge $2.00 <br /> Determination of Demand TI�� demand in kilowatts shall be the greatest 15-minute <br /> load during the month for which bill is rendered but in no event shall it be <br /> con�idered less than 10 lcilowatts. The demand may at Company's option be <br /> determined by periodic test or measurement. <br /> Approved Water Heating Installation The specifications for an Approved Water <br /> Heating Installation under this rate are as follows: <br /> 1. The water heater shall be equipped with thermostatically operated non- <br /> inductive heating elements designed to operate at 208 volts or higher. <br /> 2. The water heater shall be connected by means of a tamperproof circuit <br /> to Company's water heating meter. <br /> 3. The storage capacity of the water heater shall be 40 gallons or more and <br /> the connected load shal.l be 4500 warrs or more, except that a water heater <br /> having a storage capacity of 30 gallons and a single heating element rated at <br /> 3500 watts will be permitted. <br /> �Cuntinued on follo�wing a�heet) <br /> AA <br />
