. � <br /> ` notice from Company to Municipality and Authority, or <br /> upon notice of Municipality to Authority and Company at least <br /> 90 days before said date of December 31, 1977) the right <br /> and privilege of constructing, operating, repairing, and <br /> maintaining in, on, over, under, and across the streets, <br /> alleys, public ways, and public grounds of Municipality, an <br /> electric distribution system and electric transmission lines, <br /> including all poles, pole lines, conduits, and fixtures and <br /> appurtenances, usually, conveniently, or necessarily used <br /> in connection therewith, for the purpose of transmitting and <br /> furnishing electric energy for light, heat, power, and <br /> other purposes for public and private use in and to <br /> Municipality and the inhabitants thereof, and others, <br /> and for the purpose of transmitting electric energy into <br /> and through Municipality. The electric distribution system <br /> and transmission lines shall be so located as not to <br /> interfere with the safety and convenience of ordinary <br /> travel along and over said streets, alleys, public ways, <br /> and public grounds. <br /> Subd. 2. This ordinance is intended to regulate <br /> the exercise of the rights and privileges granted to <br /> Company herein. Nothing in this ordinance is to be <br /> construed to modify, alter or amend any statutory or <br /> charter power of the Municipality to regulate the use of <br /> its streets, alleys, public ways and public grounds. Such <br /> regulations, insofar as they do not affect the rate <br /> 4 <br />
