QN EXHIBIT A <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized <br /> and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono has adopted • <br /> subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development <br /> of land within the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has considered' a request by Kendall <br /> Ellis to purchase a parcel of land from the City for purposes of combining <br /> said land with his adjacent homestead parcel; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council on March 8, 1982, determined that the <br /> - property in question was no longer needed for any publ.ic purpose. _ <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br /> • City of Orono hereby approves the metes and bounds division of City-owned <br /> property legally described as parcel A on Exhibit A attached, into two <br /> parcels as follows: <br /> � Parcel B as legally described on Exhibit A is the • <br /> parcel which the City intends to convey to Mr. � <br /> Ellis, subject to legal combination for tax and <br /> zoning purposes of said Parcel B with the adjacent <br /> • Ellis property which is known for tax purposes as � <br /> tax parcel 09-117-23 13 0001; and <br /> Parcel C as legally described on Exhibit A is that <br /> � portion of Parcel A remaining after conveyance of <br /> Parcel B to Ellis . <br /> A certified original copy of this resolution shall be filed <br /> with the Hennepin County Recorder' s Office. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono by a vote of <br /> � ayes and � nays on this � day of °f����� , 1982. <br /> � `�� � { <br /> � <br /> � . 69illiam B. an Nest, A�ayor <br /> ATTEST. , . <br /> �� %�J'/. . <br /> A erta M.
