SITE YVALUATION REPORT <br />FOR REDFI-MD HOM 3S 7S "�`�'�►�- <br />LOT 10, THS NURSERY <br />9-10-80 <br />On September 6, 1980 six percolation holes Were tested and three <br />soil borings taken, the primary site was comprised of holes 1-4 Which <br />were located -west of the proposed house. Holes 5 and 6 were in the al- <br />ternate site on the south side if the lot. All the percolation holes <br />were dug 6 inches in diameter to a 42 inch depth while the soil bor- <br />ings were dug 6 inches in diameter to the 4 foot depth and 3 inches <br />In diameter to the remaining depth. All holes were dug with bucket <br />type band augers, <br />Water was kept in the holes the night prior to testing after <br />which the holes were tested in �j hour intervals for 4-.-hours. The av- <br />erage percolation rate for the primary site was 16.6 minutes per inch. <br />which would be acceptable for a standard drainfield system. However, <br />with a high water table in wet seasons possible in this area, the <br />trenches should be kept fairly shallow. Very good material was en- <br />countered on the alternate site which could aeowt a standard system <br />a2ss. <br />Beeausse-the primary site should be no nearer than 75 feet to the <br />small low area to the weet., and iha elevation drop it about 7 feet from <br />the top of the hill to the drainfield area, the hovsw might have to <br />be rafaUd slightly to obtain a walkout to the. drainfield sftbe-this <br />area (dsainfteld 21#4 can not be graded. <br />Additional design information follows.
