MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD MAY 9, 1988 <br />ORDINANCE AMENDMENT - FEEDING OF WATERFOWL CONTINUED <br />Councilmember Callahan asked why the City shouldn't just <br />ban the feeding of waterfowl? <br />City Administrator Bernhardson stated Council has that <br />option. <br />There were no comments from the public regarding this <br />matter. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Callahan, seconded by <br />Councilmember Sime, to direct staff and City Attorney to <br />draft an ordinance amendment regarding the feeding of <br />waterfowl. Motion, Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />EQUIPMENT PURCHASE - GOLF COURSE* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to approve the purchase of one <br />greens aerifier from North Star Turf for an amount not <br />to exceed $6,250.00.
