You agr-ied to pay this in the event the <br />Cit-y Council determined to take no action t( ieviate the water <br />drainage problemi of which you complain. If L2.e City Council does <br />-P),-e such action, then neither you nor Mr. John Dennis would be <br />liable for the costs of the study. However, should the project be <br />ordered to be undertaken by the Council you are subject to the <br />special asseegwent of which the costs of this rtudy would he a <br />pa*-t. <br />The city of Orono makes the agreement on the conditicn that <br />the decision to fund a water project in the future is at its sole <br />discretion and that your obligation to pay for the study is not <br />contingent on any gjestion x ether the City shoull have funded <br />such a project.. <br />The City further requires that your liability is Joint and <br />several with Mr.. John Dennis. That means that the City may <br />collect the amount owed from either or both of you. <br />
